Our project is entitled: "My Piece of Earth".We are going to implement ideas which will add to environmental protection and draw students attention to the importance of 3Rs. We'd like to encourage our learners to take a close look at their hometown so they would appreciate what they have at hand. Our learners are also going to present some facts on Polish Presidency in European Union.

Tools to be used: e-mail, Other software (Powerpoint, video, pictures and drawings), Video conference
Aims: Practical use of English cooperating would include different types of e-communication offered by modern technology; caring for the environment and new idea implementation team work, sense of responsibility
Work process: Planning year activities Students introduce to one another-send pictures, e-mails Students present they hometown and school Christmas fair-students use easy to recycle materials to create Christmas ornaments. Money is going to be spent on buying some tree plans. Students sent Christmas cards Students exchange information about Christmas traditions Students work on ideas which will add to environmental protection and about the way to become more green. Students share information about Polish Presidency in European Union The end of projest-students conclusions.
Expected results: Improved English language as a school language; getting to know other country and town in EU and respect differences, learn about partner's tradition; learn more about (their) environmental awareness and implement new ideas; team work - corporation and responsibility; getting familiar with technology. |
